A woody scent set at the counter balance of nutmeg and a sugary, sticky amber. It is a wonderful Autumn/Winter scent as it is rich and warming. It is a fabulous unisex scent with a mixture of sweet and musky!

The Story 

Created by perfumer Emilie Bouge as a new addition to the Private Collection, Oud Éclat is a fragrance of contrasts. Wanting to show another side to oud, Emilie worked to create an oud fragrance that she would wear. A unique, unisex and fragrance, where other notes are balanced equally in the structure of the fragrance. The inspiration came from looking into the creation of crystal to find this counterbalance. To create anything of beauty, there has to be both light and dark. So in looking to shine a new light on the ingredient oud, it had to be set within a formulation of contrasts. Like lead poured in to glass, when perfectly balanced, the result is crystal. To showcase this éclat, a sugary note, that brings a touch of sweetness, was set alongside the oud, with tagete, fir balsam and a blend of woods to create a fragrance with no boundaries. Truly a unique take on oud and shows the confidence of Emilie Bouge and Miller Harris in re-setting this addictive ingredient.
