Held in our main showroom, it’s the perfect opportunity for you to find out more about who we are, what we do and have a good browse through our styles.

Your appointment includes a full half hour with one of our expert stylists, devoted
entirely to you. Ideal for exploring styles, shapes, fabrics and discovering a little more about the Rachel Scott experience, without actually
trying on.

We’ll find out more about you, chat through ideas and show you some tailored options
from our designer collections as well as the bespoke styling variations that could be ideal for your big day.

Your first preliminary consultation will be complimentary, lasts up to 30 minutes and you can book in via phone, email or using the contact form below.

Let’s get trying on and choose your dress!

Brides-to-be are invited to view and try on our exclusive collections in the spacious, relaxed environment of our stylish consultation lounge, which will be entirely private and exclusively for you and your invited guests to use during your appointment.

During your consultation, we’ll start with an initial chat to find out more about you, your wedding ideas and any specific styles or designers that’ve caught your eye, before moving through to the showroom to view the collections. As we look through the designs, we’ll work together to choose the best dress options to try on, using them as a base from which to style your individually tailored look.

As with every aspect of the Rachel Scott experience,
promoting individual personality is at heart of everything we do - so the
format of your appointment is about doing what is right for you. We won’t
dictate what you should or shouldn’t do, how many dresses or what dresses to
try on but we will be there to support you at every stage with total
flexibility and genuine, honest suggestion based purely on you as an
individual.

You’ll have the undivided attention of one of our expert
stylists throughout your time with us, guiding you through with creative ideas,
fashion forward styling, as well as expert fabric and garment construction
knowledge. Most importantly, we’ve created a unique luxury shopping experience
that ensures you have the space, time and unpressurised environment we believe
is crucial in allowing you to make the right decision for you.

offer flexible business hours, which means we are happy to offer evening, early
morning and weekend appointments, including Sundays and public holidays.

There is a £35 charge for your
first full consultation appointment, payable at the time of booking and
redeemable against your dress purchase.

Whether you are just getting started or are ready to finalise the finishing touches of your bridal look then one of our dedicated accessories appointments will be perfect.

Open to all, whether you’ve bought your wedding dress from us or not, you can opt for a complimentary introduction appointment or a full dedicated hour of private consultation with one of our accessories stylists.

Whether you're looking for bold statement jewellery as the centre piece of your bridal look or whether you favour minimalist simplicity and just need an unadorned soft silk tulle veil, we have the expertise and creative flair to help you get it just right.

There is a £20 charge for your
first full consultation appointment, payable at the time of booking and
redeemable against your accessories purchase.

If you can’t come to us, then we’ll come to you!

If you want to indulge in the Rachel Scott experience but are unable to come in to the shop in person, then a virtual appointment is the perfect solution. You can choose whether your appointment is via phone, social media app, video conference calling or a
combination of all three!

Keeping in line with appointments held in store, these virtual consultations are totally private and you'll have dedicated one-to-one time with one of our senior
stylists.

During your appointment, we'll listen to your ideas, find out more about you, where you're up to you with your wedding plans and look through any initial ideas or inspiration you may have already collected.

From there we can showcase specifically tailored styling guidance for you. From
ideal styles, designers and shapes to options for colour, sleeve length and neckline shaping. We'll show you through the collections, chat about your ideas and use our knowledge and creativity to give you some inspiration and exciting
new bespoke styling suggestions.

Your first virtual appointment is complimentary, appointments last up to 1 hour and we’re totally flexible on appointment availability so evenings, early mornings, weekends and holidays are all options.

We understand the time
pressures our clients are so often under - perhaps living or working quite some
distance away from Edinburgh, leading busy full lives, working hard with potentially long, unpredictable and very much ‘non-standard’ working hours.

So to make sure we continue our ethos of always, and very genuinely, centring our customer experience around your specific needs, we don’t limit ourselves to ‘standard’ hours either!

We are here for you 24/7!

Appointments are available any time of day or night and any day of the week - and when we say that, we honestly mean it!

Rather than having limited business hours and setting specific appointment slots on set days for you to work your diary around, we will instead manage our diary around you.

It’s one of the reasons we’ve chosen not to have an online booking system, we want to
provide more flexibility for our clients than these systems allow. Instead, we’ll talk to you directly to find out what times and days are most convenient
for you then schedule in your appointment to suit perfectly.

If you to need to meet
us on a Sunday morning at 6am because that’s the most convenient time for you
then we will do it (and we have done!) Or if you’ve been working abroad during
the week and are arriving home on Friday night at 8pm but you’d really like to
see us that evening before you head in to your busy weekend plans, then consider it done!
