To ensure we continue to be fully inclusive and accessible to all, we offer a range of appointment options designed around you. So, whatever stage your dress shopping is at or whatever your personal preferences are, we've got an appointment format to suit you perfectly. Details of all options are noted below.
Browsing - Come on in, visitors are always welcome!
You’re always more than welcome simply to pop in for an initial browse and this might be particularly useful if you’re at the very early stages of dress shopping. You can pop in anytime but Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays are particularly great days for browsing our collections and you don't need to arrange a prior appointment.
Please bear in mind with this option, we may already be in private client consultations when you arrive so won’t be able to chat to you as much as we’d like, but the dresses are always out on display ready for a look!
Unfortunately, during the Coronavirus outbreak we can only offer browsing by appointment so please get in touch and we'll arrange a best time for you to come in.
Preliminary Consultation – Inspiration, ideas and a whole lot of tailored wedding chat!
If you want to find out more about the designers, service and experience we offer but aren’t quite ready to try on yet, then our preliminary consultation option is ideal. It includes a full half hour with one of our expert stylists, devoted entirely to you.
We’ll find out more about you, chat through ideas and show you some tailored options from our designer collections as well as the bespoke styling variations that could be ideal for your big day.
Held in our main showroom, it’s the perfect opportunity for you to find out more about who we are, what we do and decide on making a future full consultation appointment so you can get started with trying on!
Your first preliminary consultation will be complimentary, lasts up to 30 minutes and you can book in via phone, email or using the contact form below.
Virtual Appointments – If you can’t come to us, then we’ll come to you!
If you want to indulge in the Rachel Scott experience but are unable to come in to the shop in person, then a virtual appointment is the perfect solution. You can choose whether your appointment is via phone, social media app, video conference calling or a combination of all three!
Keeping in line with appointments held in store, these virtual consultations are totally private and you'll have dedicated one-to-one time with one of our senior stylists.
During your appointment, we'll listen to your ideas, find out more about you, where you're up to you with your wedding plans and look through any initial ideas or inspiration you may have already collected.
From there we can showcase specifically tailored styling guidance for you. from ideal styles, designers and shapes to options for colour, sleeve length and neckline shaping. We'll show you through the collections, chat about your ideas and use our knowledge and creativity to give you some inspiration and exciting new bespoke styling suggestions.
Your first virtual appointment is complimentary, appointments last up to 1 hour and we’re totally flexible on appointment availability so evenings, early mornings, weekends and holidays are all options.
Full Private Consultation – Let’s get trying on and choose your dress!
Brides-to-be are invited to view and try on our exclusive collections in the spacious, relaxed environment of our stylish consultation lounge, which will be entirely private and exclusive to you, for use by you and your invited guests during your appointment.
During your consultation, we’ll start with an initial chat to find out more about you, your wedding ideas and any specific styles or designers that’ve caught your eye, before moving through to the showroom to view the collections. As we look through the designs, we’ll work together to choose the best dress options to try on, using them as a base from which to style your individually tailored look.
As with every aspect of the Rachel Scott experience, promoting individual personality is at heart of everything we do - so the format of your appointment is about doing what is right for you. We won’t dictate what you should or shouldn’t do, how many dresses or what dresses to try on but we will be there to support you at every stage with total flexibility and genuine, honest suggestion based purely on you as an individual.
You’ll have the undivided attention of one of our expert stylists throughout your time with us, guiding you through with creative ideas, fashion forward styling, as well as expert fabric and garment construction knowledge. Most importantly, we’ve created a unique luxury shopping experience that ensures you have the space, time and unpressurised environment we believe is crucial in allowing you to make the right decision for you.
So, if you’re at the stage of choosing your wedding dress, please contact us to arrange an appointment. To suit your lifestyle, we offer flexible business hours, which means we are happy to offer evening, early morning and weekend appointments, including Sundays and public holidays.
There is a £25 charge for your first full consultation appointment, payable in advance and redeemable against your dress purchase.
Accessories – Total dedication to the finishing touches!
Whether you are just getting started or are ready to finalise the finishing touches of your bridal look then one of our dedicated accessories appointments will be perfect.
Open to all, whether you’ve bought your wedding dress from us or not, you can opt for a complimentary introduction appointment or a full dedicated hour of private consultation with one of our accessories stylists.
Whether you're looking for bold statement jewellery as the centre piece of your bridal look or whether you favour minimalist simplicity and just need an unadorned soft silk tulle veil, we have the expertise and creative flair to help you get it just right.

We reply to all enquiries within a maximum of 24 hours (normally much faster!) so if you haven't received a response from us within that time frame, it's best to assume your message hasn't reached us so please get back in touch!
